On 26 June, the “Mainland Enterprises Intellectual Property Going Global Business Matching Event”, organized by the Intellectual Property Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China and the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation, co-organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Intellectual Property Bureau of Guangzhou Development District, and supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong, was successfully held in Guangzhou Science City.
Hou Juanjuan, Head of the Guangzhou Litigation Team of Lusheng Law Firm was deeply involved in the enterprise matching sessions, providing on-site enterprises with professional consultation and practical guidance, and Lusheng’s strategic partner, Adelaide Yu, Partner of Rouse International Hong Kong Office, was also invited to attend this event.

The event attracted participation from more than 150 industry elites. On site, a networking luncheon, thematic seminars and multiple one-on-one business matching sessions were arranged, with the aim of deepening cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong in the field of intellectual property, supporting enterprises from Mainland China and Hong Kong to jointly “go global” to expand overseas markets and enhance international competitiveness.

During the enterprise matching sessions, Attorney Hou Juanjuan focused on the core pain points encountered by enterprises in the process of going global and conducted in-depth one-on-one exchanges with representatives of multiple enterprises. She is adept at handling infringement disputes relating to intellectual property in Hong Kong (trade marks, copyright, designs and patents). Her litigation experience includes dealing with cross-border infringement cases involving both Mainland China and Hong Kong. Ms. Yu works closely with the Hong Kong Customs in conducting criminal investigations and anti-infringement operations. In Mainland China, she provides advice on intellectual property enforcement strategies and has extensive experience in handling intellectual property litigation, administrative and criminal raids, as well as customs seizures.
