She holds dual qualifications as a Licensed PRC Patent Attorney and a Licensed PRC Lawyer and has successfully handled hundreds of domestic and international patent applications. Her solid foundation in the profession enables her to be able to handle even the most complex patent matters,

Yvette specializes in patent strategy in the fields of chemistry and biotechnology, with expertise in high-value patent drafting, office action responses, patent invalidation, infringement litigation, and freedom-to-operate (FTO) searches. She provides end-to-end IP solutions that integrate commercial insight with legal rigor.

Yvette’s core role involves advising leading clients across a wide range of high-tech industries, including life sciences, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, and advanced materials. She has extensive hands-on experience in patent portfolio development, risk management, and dispute resolution. She has led several core IP projects for multinational companies, helping them secure strategic protection for key technologies in the Chinese market.

As a core team member, Yvette has handled cases involving:

• Advised a world-leading food company on IP risks and ownership disputes regarding its recyclable paper film packaging, conducting an FTO search and leading to a revised IP strategy;
• Advised a U.S. pharmaceutical company in patent prosecution, securing patent grant in China for its ‘ Insulin analogs;’
• Advised a UK pharmaceutical company in patent prosecution, successfully having the rejection decision for the case 'Drug Delivery System' overturned, and securing patent authorization for the invention in China.
