Sharon Qiao

Sharon is a senior expert in the practice and research of Chinese intellectual property law, with over 24 years of professional experience. She was awarded the prestigious Max-Planck Scholarship early in her career and later earned her doctoral degree in intellectual property law from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany.

Qiao has extensive experience in patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and unfair competition, serving clients across various industries such as technology, electronics, telecommunications, chemistry, daily chemicals, pharmaceuticals, media and entertainment, fashion, and sport.Sharon Qiao has represented numerous cutting-edge and complex cases, including several that have been recognized as annual model cases by the Supreme People's Court.

She has received recommendations from many international legal directories and prominent media, including Managing IP, World Trademark Review, IAM (Intellectual Asset Management), and Who’s Who Legal, and has been listed in "IP Treasure: Top 50 Outstanding Intellectual Property Lawyers in China" and "IAM Patent Global Leaders." Qiao is actively involved in the formulation and amendment of China's intellectual property laws and serves as a director of the China Intellectual Property Law Society.
