Alice is the Head of Shanghai Litigation Team, based in Shanghai.
Alice Yu is an experienced intellectual property lawyer with more than 20 years of practice. She advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, including trade marks, copyright, patents, trade secrets, trade dress, trade names and domain names.
She has long served numerous leading multinational corporations from various industries, including fashion, technology, manufacturing and engineering, entertainment, sports, toys, hospitality, alcoholic beverages, and consumer goods.
With her extensive litigation experience, Alice has successfully represented clients in landmark and challenging cases, often involving companies’ core IP rights, achieving victories and substantial compensation for numerous clients.
Many of the matters she has handled are of milestone significance in domestic judicial practice and have been selected as model cases by various courts and professional institutions, including the "Top Ten Intellectual Property Cases of the Year in Chinese Courts" by the Supreme Court and the ‘Deals of the Year (IP)’ by China Business Law Journal.
